The Future Of Stonehaven
Stonehaven Town Partnership are holding a Public Meeting regarding ‘The Future of Stonehaven on Thursday 20th August at 7:00 pm in St James Church Hall, Arbuthnott Street, Stonehaven AB39 2JB and would like to invite you and friends to come along.
A number of voluntary/community sector organisations have noted their interested in shared accommodation in the building that may form a kind of one-stop-shop / community hub.
The agenda will include:
A description of the building & the project so far
Suggestions for its re-creation, and the options being considered
Open floor discussion on the options (and any others to be suggested)
The next steps and keeping in touch

*The document listed here entitled ‘Reduction of Options 150323 final’ explains why a scheme of significant reconstruction of the building is not possible and explains the kind of spatial arrangements that will guide the kinds of organisational tenants that may be able to be accommodated there.
Home-Start Kincardine
requires a
SENIOR CO-ORDINATOR
35 hours per week
Salary range – £25,404 – £28,644 depending on experience
Home-Start Kincardine is a voluntary organisation committed to promoting the welfare of families with at least one child under 5.
We are looking for a Senior Co-ordinator to take responsibility for the day to day management of the scheme along with maintaining a family support case load. The successful applicant will have experience in family support work, project management and have parenting experience.
The remit is broad and varied and requires an understanding of the needs of young families, the management of volunteers and staff and the ability to maintain a creative and flexible approach to the development of Home-Start Kincardine.
You will have the ability to negotiate funding and deliver training for volunteers. You will support the Board of Trustees in assuring the quality and effectiveness of service is delivered.
The post is full time and applicants must have use of their own car, for which expenses will be paid. You will be based at the office in Stonehaven. The successful candidate will be subject to PVG Check.

Tooters have been delivering unique and exciting music sessions to children aged between 0 and 7 years across the North East of Scotland since 1999. The weekly music sessions for parent/carer and child provide an early years’ music programme that reflects current educational developments but also draws on approaches to music education that have been used for many years. All Tooters’ activities are devised to appeal to the child of today, but have an underlying musical and developmental objective.
