Survey for Sports Clubs and Groups Now Live
Aberdeenshire Council is now engaging with sports clubs across Aberdeenshire to find out about the kind of support they want and to help them develop and be sustainable in the future. We are requesting one response per club only please. An online survey is now live and available through the following link: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/sportsclubs2017 The survey will be available for completion until midnight on Monday 1st May 2017. Disability Snowsport UK
Disability Snowsport UK is a people-centred not-for-profit charity organisation with a unique sense of purpose: that anyone regardless of their disability can take part in and enjoy the thrill of snowsports. They have applied exceptional know-how and adaptability for over 30 years to enable those with a disability to experience the joy of skiing alongside the able-bodied. They provide exciting and life enhancing activities for individuals or groups who require adaptive equipment and/or special instruction and support. Ski and snowboarding lessons are open to DSUK members and non-members. Portlethen & District Sports Trust are a newly formed group within Portlethen & the Districts which will hopefully serve the community with sporting facilities to cover the community’s needs. The trust is already in talks with Aberdeenshire council regarding looking after an area of land in the Hillside area of Portlethen which will cater for a wide range of sports and give the people in the community a sporting area to be proud of.
