ALISS – A Local Information System for Scotland
ALISS is an easy search and collaboration tool for health and wellbeing resources in Scotland. It helps signpost people to useful community support – and with an ALISS account you can also contribute the many and varied resources that our local communities have to offer. Communities in Scotland contain a wealth of resources that can support our health and wellbeing, yet it is often difficult to find information about what is available in our local area. ALISS aims to make information about networks, public services and communities in Scotland – as well as local sources of support – more findable. Communities can also contribute to ALISS with any resources they have to offer eg. places, groups, activities, opportunities, events and services. Everyone is welcome to search and use the information in ALISS – why not try a search at www.aliss.org and request an account to add something to it? The more local groups that use ALISS to add resources, the better it will become – so give it a go!
