Connecting Communities

Aberdeenshire Council is working with Connecting Scotland to identify demand for laptops and tablets to people who do not have access to a computer or tablet at home or do not have digital access. Priority will be given to those:
– on low incomes and  where affordability of devices or connectivity is a barrier
– who are at risk due to the coronavirus pandemic as they are in the shielded or vulnerable groupings
Aberdeenshire is taking part in this national pilot and have around 100 devices with broadband access included in the first instance. At this stage we do not know the level of demand which is why we are asking people to register their interest initially.
Please find below a link to a form regarding access to digital equipment in Aberdeenshire. Partners can request access to equipment for learners/individuals you are working with who meet the criteria ( or pass the link to individuals to self-complete)
