Be Active – Photo competition in K&M

Do you like competitions? We love them!

That’s why we have decided to create one for you! It is a photo competition that we are running through the K&M Communities Facebook page to coincide with August’s topic: Being Active.

We are looking for photo submissions on Facebook which show you being active in Kincardine and Mearns. It can show you walking with your dog, running, playing golf, playing sport with your friends, you riding a bicycle, doing yoga, playing games with your children or any other physical activity.

We will choose two photos that best capture the spirit of being active in Kincardine & Mearns and the winners will receive a month’s Active Aberdeenshire membership. We have two to give!

The month’s membership will allow you to use all the Council’s leisure facilities in Aberdeenshire.

What activities can you enjoy with your card?active_logo_148

  • Swimming
  • Use of fitness suites (including introductory tuition on using equipment)
  • Exercise classes
  • Use of sports halls and badminton courts
  • Amazone (Peterhead)
  • Most children’s activities
  • Squash

The submission deadline is 24 August and we will choose the winners the following week so that you will be able to enjoy your membership from September!
