Could you benefit from local business networking and improving your online trading?
The Stonehaven Business Association is organising a series of three courses, through the Business Gateway, to be held locally in Stonehaven, hoped to be of interest to many businesses and individuals and that it does not involve a trail in to Aberdeen, with traffic, time and parking, makes them all the more attractive.
The first is “Trading Online”, delivered by a Top Rated Seller on EBay. It will be of interest to retailers, B&Bs, Craft producers and anyone with ambitions for joining the digital world, and the scope of the Course is detailed below.
The workshop will examine:
• e-commerce opportunities for your business
• selecting products to sell online
• what product catalogues and shopping carts are available
• appropriate payment options
• the importance of usability and search engine optimisation
• processes for order management and fulfilment
• distance selling regulations
• good practice in data security
• website performance measures
• selecting suppliers
By the end of the workshop you will be able to draw up a detailed action plan to set up your online trading presence.
