Meet Ed and find out more about the Effective Community Group Pack
I’m Ed Garrett and I work for the Council for Voluntary Service Aberdeenshire. My role is to support local community and voluntary groups with things like constitutions, funding and business planning.
As part of this we developed in partnership with Community Learning and the Business Club in Laurencekirk the Effective Community Group pack. This pack contains a whole host of useful material for new and developing groups, from how to write a constitution to roles of office bearers. I’ve just finished some additional inserts to go in the pack with information on campaigning, publicity, child and vulnerable adult protection, monitoring and evaluation, fundraising and event management, recruiting new members, data protection and risk assessment.
Hopefully these should be useful to users of the pack. At the moment I don’t know where all the packs are so if
you have one and want these additional inserts please do get in touch.
Digital copy of the pack can be found here.
