NOMINATIONS SOUGHT FOR A NEW COMMUNITY COUNCIL FOR STONEHAVEN & DISTRICT
Stonehaven and District Community Council was disbanded at the AGM in April after 10 members left. Efforts are being made to re-establish it, led by Willie Munro, Aberdeenshire Council Area Manager.
The way forward is to have an election which requires 20 people to put themselves forward.
Being on the Community Council does not have to involve hours of work and it is an important part of the community. Participation is rewarding and appreciated.
Nomination forms are available at Council offices, schools, the library, leisure centre and community centre or by phoning 01569 768206.
Completed nomination forms must be returned by 5pm on Friday, 6th June 2014.
