Victoria Lake, Deputy Manager for the Signposting Project said: “Our service is growing with new and exciting developments and we are looking for volunteers who can support us in the work that we do”.

The project is very keen to become more established in the Kincardine & Mearns area.

Would-be helpers can get involved in various ways, from directly working with clients to find out and help them find out what kinds of services and activities could be useful to them to researching the services available and providing admin support.

“We ask for volunteers to be empathetic, have good communication skills, be practical and looking for a challenge.  Volunteers are asked to commit 2-3 hours a month and full training will be given”.

Volunteering for projects like this can be so rewarding and support you in your own journey.

Potential volunteers can contact Victoria, on 01467 624813 or email victoria@signpostingproject.org.uk to discuss further and get signed up!
