VOLUNTEERS’ WEEK: TIME TO SAY THANK YOU! (1st – 7th JUNE)
The Volunteer Centre Aberdeenshire would really like to hear from you, and what your plans are and if you want to get involved with events we are running or get involved with what other groups are planning. Tell them your plans and they will list them in their programme and involve you in the celebrations.
Volunteers’ Week is an annual UK festival in its 30th year to recognise, reward and recruit volunteers.
Volunteer Centre Aberdeenshire are planning events all over Aberdeenshire and are encouraging as many volunteers and voluntary organisations to get involved.
Each year more and more organisations get involved in ways ranging from award presentations to setting-up information booths or sponsored walks and team challenge events.
Everyone is invited to join this national celebration of volunteering, and it’s up to you to decide how you get involved.
It’s a fantastic opportunity to highlight the great work your volunteers do and what your group does also.
